Last day in Barcelona

This is my last night in Barcelona. Typing a few email replies and will be turning in soon. Visited a number of places in Barcelona today. Most were free except the Sagreda Familia which we paid 5 Euros to get in with the ISIC card. The Arc de Tromph was similar to the one in Paris. Just another structure in the middle of the road and took some pictures of it. Then there was Parc Guell, a large park with hundreds of youngsters hanging around. It didn´t look as good as in the postcards.. suppose they used photoshop to enhance the pictures. But the view from the top of Parc Guell was really good. Can see for miles... The sea was visible and well you get the idea.

The Sagreda Familia was some structure designed by this famous architect called Gaudi and it´s still being constructed. Climbed all the way to the top of the church because we didnt want to pay 2 euros to take the lift.. Wasn´t such a difficult climb afterall.. just 426 steps.. haha

Then we walked through La Rambla again... think we know the place quite well already. Had another Durum for dinner. Durum here is just some chicken or beef slices wrapped in a pitta bread with some garlic sauce, onions and lettuce. Cost me 3.50 euros. It´s the most economical thing to eat here in Barcelona. A decent meal will cost about 5 euros, which well was quite a little out of my budget.

Rome, here I come!
